Mwnt

Mwnt beach, a sandy sheltered cove is a 10 minute walk from the site. The beach has been awarded numerous awards to include Seaside Award and Green Coast Award. Dogs are not permitted on the beach between May and September. Mwnt is named after the conical hill (Foel y Mwnt) that overlooks the beach. At the bottom of the hill is the picturesque Church of the Holy Cross (Eglwys y Grog) dating from the 14th century. There is plenty of wildlife to be seen at Mwnt, dolphins and seals are regularly seen.

We have direct access to the Wales Coastal Path with walks towards Aberporth in one direction and Gwbert in the other direction. Spectacular views in both direction overlooking Cardigan Bay.
